Ive never seen the cattle turn a trailer over. Ive seen em go over after the driver drug the trailer into a bar ditch, or had his head where it shouldnt be and went over on a turn due to speed. Cattle cant really shift if they are loaded right....there shouldnt be place for them to shift to. Loaded trailers are just top heavy and will go over

Just for example, say Im loading 33 pair....(33 cows and 33 calves) The way I would load them is 15 calves downstairs in the nose, and 15 calves upstairs in the nose, and 4 calves in the dog house in the back.....All the compartments are full and know one can move around. Next I would load the cows by putting 14 upstairs, and 15 downstairs, and 4 in the back...Compartments are full and nothing can move..plus I have 48000 on and legal. Cows will be pointed in all directions for about the first 15-20 mile and before ya know it they will all be facing east and west...now their feet are all planted and they are secure...Time to go truckin

i never thought about that but you are right, i worked at supreme beef unloading cattle when i was a kid, they were all going east and west, over in greenville tx at the low underpass on i30 they have turned over so much that they are raising the underpass, i guess to save the cattle, what a deal.

This is a company I called about a job. They have a dedicated run going somewhere up north. With us living SW of Dothan, the lady told me it wouldnt be a problem taking the truck home.

    Good luck, hope this helps

    :biggrin_2553:Something we both miss dearly.

Some can handle it and some cant. When a bull rack passes you on the interstate and you realize just how good that bull ###### smells, lol, you know your one thats meant for it. :laughing-guffaw:
