Flatbeds you have Fikes, Mercer, Lonestar and their are smaller carriers that maybe will lease you on in Texas. And van you have Trucks for You in Muskogee, OK that run a lot to Texas. Thats all I can think of at the moment.

Might check out RBX Inc in Springfield, MO. They have freight to and from Texas (at least the I-45 corridor). Run 26 states. No further east than Ohio, west to Colorado. I was leased to them for about 4 years. Not the best but for sure not the worst. No age limit on trucks, just a current DOT inspection from a dealer. Been gone for awhile so things may have changed. When I was leased to them there were some drivers and O/O's there from Texas. You can check out the website for general info.
