Laughing ARF!!!!! -
Well, good morning, ya'll!
Been a while since I have been on here simply because I have been running as hard as they could make me go (legally, of course).
Finally home for a couple days. Been back out to Colorado a couple of times and even got to go to Northern Wyoming. Man, talk about some breathtaking vistas. I opted to go up Hwy 20 and forego running through the Big Horn Mountains (which I am glad I did)(they had closed the Hwy 14 pass for a few days). In doing so, I ran through Shoshoni and down through the Wind River Canyon. And I am here to tell you..... That was one of the most beautiful stretches of road I have ever been on. If you get a chance, by all means, check it out.
Anyway.... great news. Came back in on Monday and I am getting assigned to a new truck.... #5417. It is a 2007 386 Pete (snowy picture below). Really nice truck. Low miles (423,000), APU, well maintained, factory refrigerator, 2000w invertor, dual wardrobes, double bunk (the type that folds up in half), lots of storage under lower bunk, AM/FM/CD/WX/SAT, power everything, dual air-ride seats, Cummins ISX, 10 sp Eaton Fuller, air-slide, alum wheels, and just a handsome fella. Bubba suggested that I name him "Floyd". I like it.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to Floyd. Maiden voyage is scheduled for Thursday. (Have I mentioned I love this company?!?!)
Peace ARF!Attached Files:

I love the new truck! I'm real happy for ya brother. I can't wait to be on the road, loving what I do.
I finally got around to finishing your book about becoming a driver. It's a great read, and as someone who hopes to climb behind the wheel in the next year, I found it helpful and insightful. When I finally blocked out the time to read it, I couldn't stop til I was done, but then again, I'm a lover of all things trucking related.
Nevertheless, Two big thumbs up for "How to Survive Becoming a Truck Driver". If your ever coming thru Tulsa, Mark, grub and coffee is on me.
Take care! -
Thanks again!

Ha ha! Duly noted. My own appetite is much deeper than my pockets, as my wife constantly reminds me. But I say, money well spent, seeing as how food is one of those basic necessities. And some of us have more necessities than others!

I wonder how the new 386 is treating ole Mark? Guess he's been pretty busy. Hope all is well.

LC is taking very good care of me. I couldn't be happier...... Miles are good, money is good, dispatching is good, and hometime is good. What more could a truck driver ask for?
Tickled ARF!!!JustSonny, Fratsit and andrew5184 Thank this.
