Hi There,
I need some help finding cheap diesel.
Can anyone suggest where the cheapest diesel is in NY, NJ, MO, OH, OK, TX and NM.
I'm looking at driving a diesel car from NY to LA and want to do it for 100 bucks.
Any help would be great.

I hope you have a diesel scooter or moped, at about $2.80 a gallon for diesel, the national average, that gives you around 35 gallons, and to go roughly 2800 miles you will need to get 80 miles per gallon.

you can research all truck stop websites to find the cheapest. $100 bucks isnt going to happen, but you can try. Truck stops are pilot, loves, flying j, TA, petro. google them and get updated fuel prices.

With a car your best best is to buy a road atlas in WalMart . They list all the stores in each state along with which ones sell diesel .

there are several websites that provide live fuel pricing at truck stops there is one by promiles, and another by find fuel stops dot com. I like them both but find the latter to be easier to use. Might give them a try in your search for cheapest fuel prices along your route.

Try http://www.gocomchek.com/ There is no such thing as cheap diesel.

Missouri is the cheapest fuel in the country right now. last week it was like $2.57gallon.

and of course your starting from one of the most expensive states. Right at $3/gallon

I had vw jetta back in the day that was diesel and could make it from charleston, sc to northern va and back on one tank. I wish I still had that car. Now I lucky to make it one way.
