Anyone ever haul a 336E Cat….

this is only a 200 but when I load a 290 the same way but slightly farther back it’s almost 48000 on the drives and roughly 130000 gross. This particular 290 has a mulching head and bigger counterweight with wide tracks and weighs roughly 87000 when I scaled it.
The trailer is 53’ with 9 foot swing clearance and the kingpin is about 4 inches in front of the front drive axle, truck is 248 wb
A 61000 pound deer 230 puts about 40k on the drives when loaded like the picture.
Hopefully that gives you an idea.

 

I rented one that was close to 80k, but it had a quick coupler, thumb, turret guards, and full track guides. It put me at 120k on 7 axles. I would have to guess you would be 48ish thousand on drives and trailer if you're using your 2 axle lowboy, you get it balanced just right, and it is actually 67k. The machine in the photo looks to have a reach boom, long stick, and probably a 2.5 to 3 Cy bucket. I would bet you are heavier than 67.

 

Maybe you aren't using your trailer @OLDSKOOLERnWV ?

 

How bout an F model? I’m pretty sure I was over the 120K CA allowed, but I only was allowed 14,600 on the steer. Plus I haven’t had any reason to post a pic lately since I was put to pasture…….

 

I bet it’s closer to 78K
