Well we're not like college educated, well some, but no degree, but I doubt The OM would tear the roof off the house with winter on the horizon.

    Just sayin.

Isx? I had a cm871. I think the original head went to 650. The reman head didn’t last but about 300,000. It’s really not bad to put a head on if you have the place to do it. But it’s a good chance the liners have dropped and will need the counterbores cut.

Have you searched your vin number with google? It may pull inspection reports that include other DOT numbers.

I did that on a couple of auction trucks to see a little "history" on them.

Not sure how far back the data goes though.

That what i figure happened is dropped a liner. Its a 2350 isx 2015 build year. i know I have read that these cummins are famous for doing that.. The one thing i just dont know is if after burning all that coolant and oil , what has it done to the emissions crap as well? Figure that gonna need a full replacement as well. Or just find a trash can to throw it all in to

Let it dry for a few hours then I can cut the finger notch and glue it up.

Doesn’t look like they did much to it except stretch it and add air ride to the front. It still has the header wrap I put on it. If it’s still the original block it doesn’t have another rebuild in it. I sold it for 20 in 2015. It’s probably worth 35-40 in today’s market. But he very well may get 60 for it.
