Well heck l was passed last week by a Southeastern set of doubles. Guy had his ELD screen, a Garmin GPS, phone mounted up high. Looked like a glass ####pit F-18 Hornet from my view!

Also l would bet a first responder leaked the dash cam of that poor SUV getting clobbered. Or a "friend" or family member of the "driver" (lower case d) who shared it with them.

I have no issue with slowing down but have seen people going too slow and am not insinuating your one of them.
I have passed people going at rediculously slow speeds claiming they can’t see and all traffic is passing them or lining up behind them. Now we all know that crazy idiot going 60 to 65 in everything is just asking for trouble but at the same time when traffic averages 40 to 45 and all except the crazies can see far enough ahead have plenty of stopping distance and that lone driver is doing 10 to 20 and every car truck and Deere on the road is passing them or frustrated in that line of traffic a mile long behind? Maybe that person should just give it up and get off the highway. -
I agree, too slow is a hazard as well. I have a 75 year old neighbor, we went somewhere, 2 lane, but wide open, dry roads, 65 speed limit, she's doing 45. People are "bunching" up behind her, I said, dear, you're going to have to speed it up a bit. Oh no, she said, they can pass me. Well, what these people do to get around her was down right dangerous, I said, look pull over, I'll drive, and I did. As drivers we don't give it a 2nd thought, but we have to remember, for many, driving is the hardest thing some folks do, many because of lack of public transportation in rural areas, they literally have to. Many for only 20 minutes a week, it was just your day to get behind them. I can't tell you how many times I've almost gotten run over on my bike, by some old lady in a new Subaru with her mouth open on her once a week shopping trip.. Sure it wold be great if we didn't have to deal with that, but the reality is, we're used to gliding down the boulevard, but I remember a time, it wasn't so. Part of driving the truck, was putting up with that. I'll admit, my patience is shot after all these years, and now I'M the old guy going to Walmart once a week, but I'll get out of a trucks way.
And another thing, you folks with your automatics, disc brakes and big power, what's the big deal about slowing down? Years ago, with 238 Detroits, it was just get it going, and dang, school bus,,just get 'er going again, dang, farm tractor,,and so on. Point is, if you can't drive your semi and not respect the others that use the road,,,IT'S YOU that needs to get off the roads.gentleroger, JoeyJunk and PaulMinternational Thank this. -

But, there were 49 others involved.
This article makes the statement of “banned vehicles”, then, states it’s not clear how they were involved. Clickbait.

You have to read the article in its entirety!

It says the travel ban went into effect at 6 am December 23 and certain vehicle types were prohibited! -
I read all of that. And, at the bottom is the closer.

It’s possible they have been trucks pulling empty trailers or a wiggle wagon pulling triples.
