I have never been, but was thinking about going this year except i heard that it was hard to find a place to stay. Ive heard most hotels are booked almost a year in advance.:biggrin_25515:

if you check with the hotels that are 15-20 miles from louisville you should be able to get a room. i stay in shepherdsville ky., which is 17 miles south on 65 & reserved a room at the super 8 about two weeks ago.go online & check & i woukd say you will be able to find one. if you have never been you need to go once anyway. you will enjoy you it.

Call around town I bet there is more then one person that has canceled so far.

You might even get lucky and get a room right across the street !! Just bring your wallet they seem to like to bump the rates a tad at show time!!

    Mike,

There should be plenty of hotel rooms available. We are staying at the Hampton Inn in Corydon, In. There are still rooms available. $82.00 per night flat rate unless you have AAA, ect. Its a 30 minute drive to the Expo Center.

Last year we stayed at the Garden Inn off of I64 in Louisville. I booked that a week out.

Oh...thats a sweet cabover in your pic gallery. Nice job on the paint.

Well, we're pretty well set up for the show. Since the little lady's coming along, we're flying. Get to Louisville Thursday at noon. Have rental car and will hit the show Thursday afternoon and all day Friday. A day and a half should be plenty. That leaves Saturday for whatever. Staying about 11 miles from the event center. All reservations made and confirmed. Tickets for MATS were ordered a couple weeks ago.
    Looking forward to it now!:biggrin_25526:

Good to hear so many are coming to MATS this year, we look forward to a great show. For hotels, call the Louisville Convention Bureau - 800.743.3100 they can give you availability on most of the local hotels, including rates and distance from the facility. If that does not work out, check priceline.com, orbitz.com, expedia.com, etc. To see the MATS hotel and travel page, you can go to truckingshow.com and mouse over Attendee, then click on Hotel and Travel in the drop down menu. (sorry for the explanation but I can not post direct links yet)

Thank you all for making the show possible!
