I’m curious about doing owner operator but doing drop and hook and be home either every other day or weekend and make $1400 at least until I finish classes to get into re estate …I was looking at Amazon relay website so if I find a company to lease truck short term what load boards would I need to be looking for ? How would I get into all this …I have my hazmat and tank …what’s a good company or program to lease truck …. Dallas-Fort Worth Area

If you don't have your own operating authority leasing a truck isn't going to do you any good.

if all u need 1400 a week just get a company local job , but if you looking for a short term job I wouldn't bother with trucking go work at McDonald's

I used to run intermodal with Schneider, in the Atlanta area.

Schneider also does a lot of intermodal work out in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

A good bit of it is home-daily, drop-&-hook work.

Check with Schneider, Swift...and also J B Hunt....for intermodal work in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Those are the 3 big players in the intermodal world.
