It’s hard to believe how much stuff that place offers for these trucks.

I was surprised. I didn’t think half the stuff I have replaced was even made anymore. When my local Freightliner either has it on shelf or gets it next day I still am amazed.

My old ones were busted up pretty badly. Replaced dash skeletons, hood, bumper, half fenders, and completely rebuilt doors all in two weeks in front of my house.

Same here. Miami Star usually has the best prices on parts.

That’s one job I’m very intimidated to start. I broke the tabs while replacing my parking valve for the 3 rd time. For some reason that last time seemed like an impossible job. Spent 12 hrs, threw my back out. 10 yrs later, my legs still numb. I’d like to surface mount the parking valve. Make it an easy job to change.

I just numbered everything with a paint marker on dash end and whatever hooked up to it. Wasn’t easy but wasn’t hard. The parking was left alone. That looked difficult. Luckily it appeared newer so I left it alone.

Stop parking and wearing out the valve. If the wheels aren’t turnin’, you’re not earnin’. :D

It’s this valve on the trailer. Was leaking and not releasing air to the air bags. Beat on it, started working. Trailer tends to move forward while being loaded. Hoping this was the problem. Supposedly causes that.

So fellas. I got ABS 7 flash code. My ABS module and new wiring hasn’t helped….was replacing anyway due to age/deterioration. Hooked cord up to a newer trailer where I park and it didn’t light up the ABS light at all. I didn’t check to see if theres was cut or unhooked. Any ideas?
