He could’ve stopped at the 131 or 137 exits. The 137 even has a truck stop and a McDonald’s with truck parking. Plenty of other exits/truck stops before or after and a massive rest area before. Pure stupidity!

I think about your posts every time I see a truck on the shoulder.

get your head out of butt and quit driving on the shoulder!!!!

I've pulled over to check a haz-mat load that was leaking, never thought about these new age driver, that spend 75% of their time looking at the phone.

Although he shouldn’t have been there on the shoulder, it doesn’t matter if he was or wasn’t. It could have been a boulder for all I care.

every day goes by I think of a new way to be proactive in avoiding idiots on the road.

Good thing it wasn’t a rescue vehicle on the shoulder.. sounds like a steering wheel holder in middle lane got cut off and reacted by swerving right.

    JoeyJunk and Coffey Thank this.

    @mjd4277 You got me.

I thought this was going to be a thread about cooking bbq in a truck. Not BBQ'ing a truck.

    :(

I am very displeased with the misleading title of this post.

    ;)

Nose to tail driving, no doubt. Not leaving enough room to see what is ahead. Then, as a previous comment, absolutely stupidity in display, when a driver goes right by a fairly safe place to pull over, but that might take a few more minutes, I will just use the shoulder. pure "brain dead".

    ducnut and JoeyJunk Thank this.

If it was about BBQ’ing in a truck it wouldn’t be in the accident forum!;)
Even then,I wouldn’t recommend that! lol

    Sirscrapntruckalot and JoeyJunk Thank this.

    4-lane, through there.

Imagine how good that’d be. Mount a smoker on the catwalk. You’d be set.

    mjd4277 Thanks this.
