That's why they make velcro sneakers and slip-ons.

 

Lol I got my dad a new pair of sneakers for Christmas. His old new balance's were probably 5+ years old and dry rotted on the bottom. Got him sketchers this time, should last another 5+ years Lol

 

Been wearing Asics for a while now. Used to be a New Balance guy. Asics are much better.

 

They won't. I wear the Skecher's from spring until fall and I usually need a new pair every spring. The New Balances are good too.

 

Skechers were a 6 month sneaker then rotate for shop wear for 6 months before they were done. Acceptable for $50-60, but @ $200 for a pair of New Balance, I treat them like expensive dress shoes, which ironically I don't own a pair of anymore. Soles came off at a funeral and I ended up pallbearing in my truck boots anyway.

 

I fully endorse this statement as the proud owner of said slip-ons.

Engineering company that does refractory, fireproofing, acid proofing, & coatings (so says their signage) left me the ####### child load to drag back IL.

Came from the john deere foundry where they just wrapped up a job in the melt shop..
