Volvo d13 hard starting

    Hello I have Volvo d13 2015 with 680k miles
    I have a hard starting and bubbles in the passenger
    fuel tank I have to prime it few times in order to start
    I went to the mechanic and he said thats my cup injectors and went bad without even looking at the truck, I also checked the fuel filter housing and I noticed the hose with the U ring on it was wet with fuel I guess, could this be the fuel filter housing? Not the cup injectors And could the fuel filter housing cause the bubbles not the injectors cup? thank you

    If its sucking in air, absolutely you'll get bubbles. Fix that first and go from there.

    I would not rule out filter housing and davco housing/cap(if equipped). Actually id first chase those down. Recently, a friend was dealing with a hard start/losing prime on a D13M, ended up being a small crack on the davco sight glass. Also the hand pump on secondary housing can leak vacuum.
