I'm on 294 all the time. The semi drivers you are describing are in the minority of speeders and reckless drivers out there. At least from what I've seen.

Nothing like squeezing past a 65er who’s crowding your lane just to have him roar past you in a construction zone 3 minutes later. But like others have said, your sanity will greatly improve when you stop obsessing over the stupid things you’ll see stupid people do all day everyday.

    Sanity?

I have to leave mine at home for safe keeping! Bringing it along or trying to rationalize what they are doing even in the slightest bit would ensure you loose it!

I grossed $99,000 in 22, 100% on time, home every weekend all at 65mph.

What's the difference between passing the same truck twice or two different trucks once?

UPS trucks where I run usually keep to 55mph. They’re not governed that low I’ve seen them ramp it up to 72 to complete a pass and then go down to 55. Maybe because they work by the hour instead of mileage but I know they make good checks and good benefits but they insist running 55. So yeah your speed doesn’t determine your pay.

Some are paid by hour and some are paid by mileage. Depends on the run.

Like I thought.......wishful thinking that he (or she, as it may be) would come up with some facts, instead of talk heard at the buffet....

70 and 75 big carrier trucks are usually lease paying for everything and getting 80% at best with layovers and OTR life...

Company drivers sitting at home a lot and making the net or more clearly are out classed and don't know the industry as well.. You gotta go fast and look like you need a shower to be a big time twuk dwivuh
