    You would be incorrect. Emissions controls are still misunderstood to this day on all the manufacturers.

    I totally misread what you wrote. My apologies.

    All these new trucks can suck really bad. It’s not just International. On the other hand a lot of guys here have had great experiences with them. Mechanics are not good anymore either. Heck I just had a engine rebuild on. Series 60 Detroit. How the heck can you screw that up?!?!

    Maybe they are to you! I had it figured in the 60s!

    Jr. High school class......

    SMOG.

    It takes Heat to create energy.

    If you take away the energy there is no smog.

    Energy is heat..

    If the people who design our junky cars woul have reduced their compression ratios in the 80s our smog issue wouldn't be hardly as bad.

    If an engine runs cool it can't possibly burn the gas till all of the energy out oof it.
