Yes you did read that right. I came to the conclusion a long time ago, that only math magicians can make these L/P programs work. It is my sad impression, that most of the L/P operators have very poor math skills.

 

hey..sorry i have not been on, yes been busy and lost my password. I meant to say my fuel costs were .60cpm. Yes i'm still here at jbhunt and still doing well. the only thing that has changed is now i am working off of a load board and picking my own loads/miles per week. Still making some pretty good money and only have 6 months to go on the lease

 

My First OTR job was with Mid western back in 1980 as i remember it was 6 or 8 cents a mile for the co driver and 12 cents for the lead. the trucks had a small 290 and most were 10 speeds no hand breaks,no jakes it was quite an experience one that i will never forget. most of all donner pass in January however i didnt stay long because they would never route you home

 

I was wondering why no one thinking about lease purchase plans look at much else besides weekly payments? How about things like:

interest rate
deprecation
who's name is on the title? yours with a lean? or company until paid
can you modify the truck?
can you pay it off early?
warranty?
etc etc..

If you are thinking O/O, why not join OOIDA or another orgianzation to help put together a solid business plan?
