Entering the US - vaccine requirement

    Mornin folks, Im just curious as to how many of you who cross on a semi regular basis at different crossings are actually asked for proof of vaccination to get into the US? Ive heard a couple times now that they rarely ask, but I was just wanting to see what you guys experience there. It was just extended now till Apr 30.

    Detroit, Port Huron, Buffalo, Lewiston, Eastport, Blaine, Sumas, never been asked for proof. Don't think I was ever asked if I have my shots either. Maybe twice was asked if I am feeling healthy or have a fever or cough. Going from usa to Canada they used to ask way more often and even had that app you had to load in proof of shots. I think it has been discontinued now.

    What was extended until April 30? I don't follow most of it anymore it isn't news. I just get my shots and go on with life.

    THe US govt has extended the vax requirement for outsiders to enter the US till Apr 30th now

    I have been asked twice at Lewiston NY during the last year. I am retired now.

    The reason they don't ask is because when your name shows up on the computer they already know your Vax. status 99% of the time.
