the ua thing? Well if there was any positive preliminary an mro is supposed to contact me to confirm I have a valid prescription before they do confirmatory testing. So they wouldn’t know before I knew.
as for the dac, mvr, psp, etc…I have no clue what more they would need to know. I did however notice on my dac and mvr that it did not list my former employer for some reason, even though I made it clear on my employment history on my application.
A minute ago though I did just remember that last time I put my application out there, I was rejected by 2 companies for still being “under contract” with stevens transport, my first employer, who I haven’t even been employed by for two years and their ridiculous student loan is paid off.

Is the PSP the same as a DAC report?

PSP is the driver’s version of a CSA. Just a report of all inspections and violations. Same system, different name.
DAC is a hiring database that companies use. It’ll list how the employment ended, whether or not eligible for rehire, and may have notes if someone abandoned a truck or did something egregious. -
How can you access your own DAC report? I left my last company relatively in a hurry during the pandemic to catch an international flight. Left their truck in their yard, cleaned the truck out well, but left a light on inside the truck. I got a text message from dispatch the day my flight was scheduled to leave the country, asking if "I was quitting." Apparently they noticed the light inside the truck and then saw that everything was cleaned out. I only requested "hometime" for a few days, so they were obviously suspicious.
I really didn't want to tell them I was quitting, because it was one of the international humanitarian repatriation flights, and I wasn't really even sure that the flight would actually happen or that they'd allow me onto the plane, because I wasn't a citizen of the destination. So just in case, I wanted to have the fallback option of coming back to the trucking job. That was also the same job that wanted to write me up for refusing to deliver a load to a place that demanded they check my temperature. -
I think you can submit a request through HireRight (the company that created DAC). I wouldn’t worry about that company leaving any negative marks though. Leaving the truck on their yard cleaned out and in good shape is about all that’s required. As far as refusing to deliver, I guess they could note that, but I doubt it. If a company was going to make any deal about insubordination, I’d assume it’d be for more serious things like joyriding equipment, refusing to submit paperwork, etc.. There are drivers that refuse things like you did on a weekly basis. Not saying those drivers are in the right, but that’s pretty low on the totem pole of things drivers do that screw over a company.insipidtoast Thanks this.

That would fall under a service failure, not insubordination. Also, there really isn't such a thing as forced dispatch. I am not feeling quite right. I don't think I should be driving. That takes care of trying to force a load on a driver. Dispatch can refuse to offer another load option, but they can't "force" a driver to accept and haul any load. I will have that pissing contest with any dispatcher, any day. Then again, I run hard, get freight delivered on time, and always help my DM have me set up for success. It's easy to think of taking a stand like that with established clout.insipidtoast and Thrasher28 Thank this.
