The places I've loaded insulation provides some hard cardboard type edge protectors. Good for one time use.

Could try this place. Looks like they have a decent store with equipment from the photos.

For where your going if ya don't have them you'll be leaving without a load. They can't be the little 4inch protectors either. They'll be out inspecting your securement before paperwork is handed over, pretty strict.

    EDIT

Just so you know they also require 2 straps per stack plus X strap on back. So 14 straps. Lots of guys at various insulation shippers throw 1 strap over the bundles, over in Tallmadge that don't fly...

Loaded there couple years ago but cant remember how it went,if my memory serves me right they used to have the cardboard protectors.
Maybe they figured is not cost effective,
Broker asked for 10 straps and twenty edge protectors which i have but i like to be ready for whatever.

That will not work for insulation. You need minimum 2-3 feet long corners/softners. The idea for protectors for insulation is not to “Crush” it. It’s extremely soft.

If for some reason that place posted above is out of edge protectors, I would call the shipper before canceling the load. Maybe it's possible they would still have some for "special circumstances"...

They've become overly strict with rules too. Taking your truck keys while you strap the load...
