Oilfield work in running out of Salt Lake

    Salt Lake has some refineries and I was wondering what companies run to the oilfields, how much do they pay and how people are liking the job.

    Most of it is out of Vernal and Rifle. Doesnt pay that good in the winter, Soldiers Summit and the scale suck. Forest and ITL were decent haulers (doubles) You gotta be a mountain goat. I never saw good money there, decent yes, great? no. kinda impossible when you run the hills in low range and go 4-5 hours empty back. Low gravity oil and the bbl rate is low.
