    Thanks Pink. And you to. I am trying to get a collection together of trucking songs for my 12 year old to listen to while I am on the road. So far I have 18 wheels and 12 Roses and Roll on Highway can't seem to think of any others. LOL We use to listen to those 2 alot when I was little because my daddy was a truck driver.

    My daddy was a trucker, too (and rigger, he's retired)--just short hauls, though, not OTR.
    Well, here are songs I have (*Hmm.... is there a playlist thread on this site? I should check..)

    Anyway....

    Here are some "trucking songs" that I like:
    -Movin On (Merle Haggard)
    -Driving My Life Away (Eddie Rabbit)
    -East Bound and Down (Jerry Reed)
    -I've Been Everywhere Man (Johnny Cash)
    -Papa Loved Mama (Garth Brooks)
    -Six Days on The Road (Sawyer Brown)


    Other worthy songs, but not truck driving specific:
    -Rock Island Line (Johnny Cash)
    -Working Man Blues, (Merle H)
    -I Take A Lot of Pride in What I am (Merle H)
