I just applied for a line haul/local deliveries Gig with Tim Hortons they only work 4 days a week Mon-thurs shift for line haul ,3 weeks vacation to start $30 starting wage and up to $33 after 3 years . Anyone have any info on them other than their coffee and donuts. I’m guessing they are probably be like Mb as far as delivering to restaurants i know they use power jacks . only thing that worries me is they are always hiring which begs the question why ?

I’d guess they may loose guys for health reasons. I would have to to eat something at every stop. Well, you can see where that would lead….sounds like a good job. Take it before someone else does!

Always hiring because you can make more out there. Pepsi & Coke are both in the Teamsters (take it for what it’s worth) and you’ll get started right about in that wage with a decent pension. I’m guessing $6-8 an hour pension but that’s just based on from what I’ve seen from other Teamsters jobs.

Physical work .. tight backing situations . Icy ramps . Slow trucks .. are things that the current lazy population don’t enjoy .

beside the tight backing i don’t think it would be that bad it’s all power lift gates with power jacks and from what i see all the drivers do is bring it to the receiver doors and the employees take the product off the skids . I just wondered if anyone knew how’s the company its self is to work for . Again i’ve applied for the line haul position but you also have to do store deliveries

Friend of mine entertained the offer a few months ago. Apparently the reason given for high turnover was too many car/truck interactions. Car back into truck in parking lot = counts against you. He passed on the offer. Also 30 something per hour 4 day weeks, windsor area.

That will be a really good reason to stay 500 miles away from that kind of work!
