WOW you are gonna respond to a post from september??? And yea at that time you were trolling with your skirt on cheer leading for prime. Let me guess Crime INC. has a better lease deal? You have said it best a million times Have you ever worked for National if not how can you give any advice on THEIR lease program?

when i drove for Cargo Inc. back in '83 a friend of mine switched from Cargo to National Carriers. He was an o/o & i think he said they were giving him a better deal than Cargo. I wish I stayed in touch.

In '83, National carriers was a WHOLE different Outfit. Big changes since, not sure of all the changes, but when I saw the addition of "Lease Purchase" I knew they went in the toilet.

I left because I was only getting three paychecks a month as well. I broke the lease early and they found a way to snag $450 in bond money and $1800 in maintenance money. After getting an exit inspection they said they found other problems with the truck. I sunk over 3 grand into my truck in 4 months plus that $1800.... WTF?
ED KENTNER is director of leasing, total prick! He now has Bell's Palsy and deserves worse! May he burn in hell...

I've been with National since Oct of last year. And since I've been with them I've lost everything;my home,my money,my bank account, and my stress level has gotten so high I can no longer see it.My wife is on the truck with me because we are homeless.I drive for a fleet owner, who refuses to get this truck fixed while I'm out here.Right now,we have no AC,and yes the owner,William, knows about the problem. But since he also owns his own shop, and wants all work done "in house",he refuses to pay for it to be fixed out here.National won't help either. And,I haven't had a paycheck from him since Jan.We have to live on my cash advances which isn't good.
I'm DONE with this crap! We are presently looking for another company.

NO Kidding! For what he owes you for back pay I'd leave the truck at a shop to have the AC fixed and go to that other job you have setup and leave this moron holding the bill!

My next door neighbor drives for them and so far as a company driver, she's "happy" with them! She went the blue bird route and took them their truck back and has been with one other company and it didn't work out but so far she "seems" happy as they took care of her after an on the job injury including getting her home and now she is back on the road. Go figure! Must be the owner of her fleet being more human than others?
