In this case crossing state lines made it a federal matter, which all but guarantees that he’s going to rot in prison,if someone doesn’t shank him first.

Now that his face is plastered all over the internet and social media (and undoubtedly in the federal database) it’s open season on him!

Lets just hope the fear, terror, pain, helplessness, shame, confusion, anxiety, regret, dirty and violated feelings haunt this prick for the rest of his days. Unfortunately these two young girls have to deal with it for theirs.

Its a shame I feel they let these people sit around in jail. I'd have chained road gangs guarded by return service men who want space, but not afraid to shoot. The guardians could have quite comfortable modern accomodation with great food. The trash could eat and sleep in basic shipping containers converted on wheels. Their role till the day they die is to pick up littler, weed control, and repair roads. Or perhaps labour for poorer communities to achieve things.

They can rape each other as often as they like in their hot or cold pungent accomodation and get hosed down a couple times a week on the side of the road by a water truck.

But, where would 2nd chance carriers get their next driver? ;)

I’m curious to how this happened “for years”. I mean, who lets young girls go in a truck with a convicted felon? Obviously, there are periphery adults not adulting.

so it alters jurisdiction, fine, but thats not really making a substantive difference to the story or reporting, IF it were some kind of lawyerly article it would be relevant, but its not

You reading into this way too much. Either way the perp is off the road. He had already been to prison once before. This time it’s for a much longer term.
