I think at this stage of life she wants comfort and I don’t blame her. If I can provide comfort while generating a modest income I’m all for it

Do you haul milk yourself? If so I’d be k trestles I’m knowing which trucks specifically you see around. I’d like to get an idea of what is the best truck to buy

... smooth bore tanker is not the best way to learn how to drive truck. Just an FYI. Lots of surge, you need the confidence of knowing what the truck will do. The time to be skilled in driving smooth and fluid. Difficult to learn how to shift a 9,10,13,18 spd while surge is randomly speeding you up and slowing you down. Difficult to know breaking distance, especially if your transitions to slowing are not smooth ... the load will splash around in the trailer and crash into the front of the tank hard enough for you to think you were rear ended by another big truck.
201 Thanks this. -
One of the plants we haul from. Their main supplier uses sleepers.
Occasionally DFA shows up. As far as i know. They're all daycabs. Company puts them up in a motel if they can't make their clock.ATXCowboy Thanks this. -
If you are dead set on a large truck why not get a flat or dry van? Why the milk hauling? You can use a big bunk all day on a dry van and flat just have to pick the lighter jobs and those are the ones that normally pay better anyway.
