Is the Uniden bearcat 880 reliable?

Don't know anything about this radio. Are they reliable? Do they do as well as say a galaxy or Stryker?? Just curious

My stock Uniden 880 gets out better than my Cobra 29 LTD that was tuned by Walcott. I don’t know it’s saying much, but I prefer the Uniden.

I wasn’t happy with mine. I never could get acceptable performance out of it, and the display was giving out in under a year of service. It’s just not the radio Uniden used to be.
