This shows the wind chill at -46F nearing the Continental Divide this morning on 15. Crazy wind up there

 

We went from above freezing and rivers flowing off the snowpiles all last week to -18°C the last couple days. I spent an afternoon last week on the wheel loader scraping up as much ice as I could off the ground in the yard. Figured once the flowing water froze up it'd be a complete skating rink.

 

I came through there Friday and the road was a mess, spun out cars everywhere and over a foot of snow on the road by time I made it to the house. I got the plow truck stuck in a drift yesterday. The drifts were 4'-5' on the driveway. I got a good windburn/frostbite on the cheeks shoveling out of the drift, that wind was fierce!

 

You can see he’s been dragging his feet……

Not a jealous person. But man I could use a scooter ride. Be safe!
