I am age 33 and I have one accident in which I was cited for in 2021 for following too closely.

I have searched but I am not sure I have seen any companies that would provide company paid/sponsored CDL training with this in my mvr. No from Schneider and Roehl even though they didnt tell me why I assume that is why. No from KLLM and they told me it had to be 5 years old for them. Are there any out there that can help that anyone knows of. I am located in Atlanta.

Yes, I am aware I am about to get beat up over this citation from people here. . .

I'm surprised one accident would give you so much trouble. It may be more due to that plus a general hiring slowdown, especially for paid CDL training. Schneider paused all paid CDL training for a while and is only just starting to open it back up in a few areas. They hired me with an at-fault accident on my record.

I like the idea of going to a private CDL school. I can't imagine a company punishing you for just 1 accident. If anything is hurting you, it may be the combination of a lack of experience and the accident.

Would you be interested in a non-cdl truck driving job for the time being.?

I am not interested in a non cdl job. I currently have a job, looking to change and get a CDL and take that career path. If private CDL school is my only option I will look into that, but I def dont want to save up and drop 5k and not be able to get a job using it lol.
