What is round trip miles. Probably need to tarp this as well if on a flat. Need to figure that into the plan.

 

1300 miles- Davenport Fl to Tinker AFB
Supplier said they can wrap it. Not sure if it needs to be dry, it's going under an AST
Might look into cost difference between open deck and box. Probably box trailers are cheaper?

 

Have to get it in and out of a box. What’s the equipment at the delivery?

Round trip would be 2600 miles

Flatbed megas will probably do that for 3k per truck, tarped.

 

yea, you're right- no loading docks in a staging lot LOL. I'm sure there will be plenty of forklift type devices tho- fuel pipe and equip to unload and move around. Not really my job description to arrange transportation stuff but I figured I could get ideas from people who know more than I do and pass that along. We used that sand before but within the state, so shipping was no problem. Now we can't find anyone who has sand to meet the spec so we're brainstorming....
I never knew sand could be so specific! or hard to find!
