Early Retirement May Accelerate Cognitive Decline

I think it depends a lot on how you spend your retirement. If you just lounge around and drink coffee in front of the TV all day I can see a person's mind literally wasting away.

 

Woke, or just not willing to get bamboozled?

I see both sides of the argument. Even if young people have good points, the older generation is going to see them as lazy for refusing to go through what they did.

 

So many retirees pass, within years of their retirement. It’s a scary thought. Then, we got The Man wanting us to work to our deaths, so they don’t have to pay out of what we paid into. No winning.

 

You should see how we get f###ed over here in Canada. Its mandatory that almost every working adult has to pay into the Canada Pension Plan.

In a fair and just country the money you paid into the system would be paid out to your estate if you passed before retirement. Doesn't happen that way. Money's gone forever.

 

Imagine if the UK had veteran homes like here in the states. That dude would be amongst his comrades. Of course, at a century old, probably no others left.
