Looking for advice on the best logging pattern for me and my co-driver. I know that we could do a 10/10, but since it plays havoc with the circadian rythms (read: "jet lag") by advancing the clock from 3 to 4 hours a day, I can't see that as a long term solution. We are looking for a more graceful way by trying to keep the "jet lag" to 1 hour a day. Any suggestions?

About the only other legal option is to do 8 hours sleeper , on duty and both take 2 hours off duty at the same time . A lot depends on your schedule .

10/10 worked out really good for me. That got us where we were going quick. Who has time to sit for 2 hrs during a run? I'm hoping my co-driver wants to do it liike that.

I've never really stuck to any sleeping pattern so that wasn't an issue for me.

My wife and I run as a team and this is how we do it. She starts driving about 7am and then we stop for dinner at about 5:30 or 6pm. After dinner I drive untill about 6am. I do drive more miles than she does most of the time. We have found this the best way to drive. We have kept this schedule for 3 years now.

the only problem is your team truck can oly drive 22 hrs in a 24 period. so 2 hrs is on duty or off duty.. 10 hrs in sleeper or 2 hrs off duty 8 sleeper plus 11 hrs drive times 2 but it works great cause the 2 hrs can be in dock, fuel, or truck stop to eat and shower a day. Team rocks making 90,000 a year on a decated run 2200 miles one way 2 turns a week... great home time
