This has become so common lately, I am starting to wonder if they are even teaching new drivers to look at all before merging into an other lane?
ducnut, Flat Earth Trucker, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this. -
The students i trained years ago would never look in the mirrors unless I mentioned it…so obviously they’re not like you stated…

Had one run my ram off the road last time i was home. He happened to be going to the same fuel stop i was (cheapest diesel in the area) so i asked him what the actual #### does he not check his #### mirrors. He told me its MY responsibility to get out of HIS way and if i dont like it i deserve to end up in a ditch. That we "4 wheelers" get in HIS way.....
Yea im seriously considering taking this one school up on switching my degree and just saying the hell with driving a truck.ducnut, Magoo1968, Flat Earth Trucker and 2 others Thank this. -
He's probably one of these drivers who uses his curtains to block the side windows. I had an idiot almost hit me in the truck stop the other day because he could not see out of his truck except through the windshield.

The blatant red light running by trucks and cars has increased big time the last few years. I’m convinced with all the traffic stops that have gone wrong, law enforcement has severely cut back on traffic stops. Maybe due to to safety concerns it’s just not worth it to them???? Just my opinion. I don’t see people getting pulled over nearly as much as I used to.
ducnut, The Railsplitter and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
I would have laid him out flat right there and then!Magoo1968 Thanks this.

I try not to escalate things. I tend to pack on home time and ive learned in most cases its better to just take a deep breath and walk away. Some....people....are just not worth the breath or effort. He will get himself killed/arrested sooner or laterGrouch, The Railsplitter and Val_Caldera Thank this.
