What Pay Should I Expect for Crude Hauling outside the typical oilfields?

Utah is going to be alot different than New Mexico. Mountains, chaining up, pulling trains. If your coming out of Utah, you'll typically do 1 load a day. Out and back.

 

From what I've seen in the last week of interviewing with different companies, crude hauling pays around $25 / hour with no experience in the GIllette, Wyoming area. I couldn't say what 2 years of experience would get you.

 

Never been hourly hauling crude. Always by the load. I know coastal plains has a yard in wright, wy. There paid hourly along with the man camps of that suits you. Silvercreek is hourly, there down by Douglas, Wy. Other companies to consider are Praire Field Services, Hoffman, Black Hills, and Badlands. I've been a 3rd party to some of these outfits. If you have any questions feel free to ask

 

25 is way too low for crude unless they also paying loaded miles on the side or something

 

When I work for Sunoco 8 years ago I was bringing home anywhere from 1,800 to 2,200 every 2 weeks. Which seemed kind of low because things were so expensive and the permian basin. I'd get at least 30 an hour. That's about the going rate for any trucker these days

 

Indeca is hiring out in west tx right now.
They provide housing and all that.
They said take home was around 5k every 2 weeks.
I tried jumping on that but I'm convinced my cdl is burned now...

Definitely check them out. Crude hauling is very ez. I was gonna stay at the mentone mancamp since its closer to all the leases and offloads for max profit.

Their other location was Monahans but i wanna say you'd have more deadhead if u drive outta that yard.

 

How do you know 5000 every 2 weeks ? Can you list your source ?
