1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

No to show you how to drive :biggrin_25523: No but seriously every euro trucker deep in their bones wants to drive the rigs here, if only for a decent sleeper.

Its still being clogged up by all you foreigners...it used to be the Irish and now its the Eastern Europeans doing it. LOL :biggrin_25522:

I came out of Tescos at Thurrock onto J30 at 515 this morning just in time to see a Spaniard spin a coupe into the central reservation in the pouring rain.

Remember the tail backs down the M1 from Northampton to the M25 every morning (40 miles+) on three lanes ? Well its all changed now its four lanes of queues instead of three :biggrin_2559: Even better with the snow we had this morning ..almost three inches ..utter chaos again.

I really miss seeing the blur of an Irish truck on our motorways. At least you boys could hold the steering wheel straight.

Xenophobe! how small minded can one person be? we have to sit 6 tests in total to get our licence on top of that we can then do a nvq qualification including an enviromental course that teaches you to save fuel and be kinder to the enviroment. i have! and a first aid course.and haz chem.and forks. would you rather have some one that can speak perfect english and has a degree? because i can and do. no because it would show you up. Thank god there are not many like you. the town where we bought the house welcomed us in with open arms and is a testiment to the true american. bye y`all

Honestly mate i used to get off the boat in Stranraer at about 10 at night and take the 66 to scotts corner and down the A1m , M11 then 25 to th A2 and Dover and the boat, tried my best to stay away from the 25 and the 1 during daylight, if i never see that traffic agin it will be too soon.

Anyway keep her between the hedges and hope the weather is getting better.
