freakin' idiots. The Railsplitter Thanks this. -
That dog nearly became a hot dog for real, if were the trucker it's no way I would have stopped. He smoked the brakes to avoid hitting the dog, that really could have been a lot worse than the video showed, all because of the sudden stop.

They do but it only works if it’s engaged.RockinChair said: ↑Modern vehicles come with a lockout switch on the driver's door nowadays.Click to expand...RockinChair Thanks this.

Either that or the collision mitigation system would’ve smoked the brakes for him-which in some cases is even worse!bryan21384 said: ↑That dog nearly became a hot dog for real, if were the trucker it's no way I would have stopped. I love dogs more then anything in the world.. But i would not have even tapped the breaks... If that driver was hauling a flatbed load, he would be dead right now locking the brakes up like that
bryan21384 Thanks this. -
I had a small dog in my left arm, my hand on her torso, her front paws on the window seal. We drove around our small town, for years, me holding her like that. One day, at ~20mph, she bolted. No rhyme or reason. It was apparent by her wavering head movements, she’d hit her head. Immediately drove to the vet and they pumped her full of anti-inflammatories, to combat brain swelling. She made a full recovery. Stuff happens.
RockinChair, D.Tibbitt and bryan21384 Thank this.
