    Hi everyone. I joined the forum a week or so ago... Im thinking about becoming a truck driver and have been reading different threads here trying to educate myself a bit.

    I have been in new home construction for quite awhile but as you know that, like a lot of industries, has slowed down.

    I live in NW Indiana so there are a lot of companies with terminals in my area. I have no criminal record and a very clean driving record so I hope that will help.

    I like long walks on the beach, candlelight bubble baths and LOL just kidding !!!!

    Looking forward to getting to know some of you and thanks in advance for your knowledge, info and experience !

    Welcome to the forum Cooper! I am one of your fellow wannabes and have found the forum to be the best source of info around about the ins and outs of trucking. There are some really good "threads" about many of the trucking companies plus some invaluable info in the "Questions from New Drivers" sub-forum. Dig in, ask questions.....you've got a sense of humor, that's a good thing. Thanks for joining and let us know how things are going with you as you look into this career move.
