Crawfish spots on I-10

The Rice Palace is at exit 80, on the westbound side. I don't recall there being a Love's around there.

Loves is at the 92...Rascals Cajun is behind TS across the road

Exit 115 in Louisiana go north once you exit. And you will see in on the right. Maybe 1 mile after you exit.

However the best Crawfish are in Texas. But don't let any LA ppl that they call coonaz hear you say that.

Those are the best 2 places I’ve found in Breaux Bridge. Chicken on the Bayou can’t be beat. The best Crawfish etoufee to be found. The Ille de Capri, Crawfish etoufee with a big piece of Catfish on top is one of the best meals in the whole State. A piece of the Catfish on a fork, and a scoop of etoufee, together has such a unique taste. Costs about $17, but it’s a huge portion. Easily feeds 2 . The Pistollettes are also the best to be found anywhere. Then there’s the Alligator, Frog Legs, Boudin, Gator sausage. It’s all good. Also available frozen, shipping available too. They’re not big on boiled Crawfish, The USA place 1/4mile north is the go to for boiled. Truck friendly parking. Landry’s is too expensive, and nowhere near as good as the Chicken on the Bayou Dive. By far my favorite place to eat.

 

We ate there once about 15 yrs ago. Must have been a bad day. We were very disappointed.

 

Don’s is good. I’ve yet to try Fezzo’s. Anderson Seafood in Gonzales is real good. Little fancier than Don’s. Very nice place. Gourmet type meals. Worth the cost, considering the quality, it’s a bargain. Just as good as any 5 star restaurant in New Orleans at a fraction of the cost.

 

It’s been several years since I’ve been to Crazy about Crawfish. But you’re right, the Chicken on the Bayou is the best. Their Cajun sausage poboy is to die for!
