I am surprised the don't make you do the weight lifting exercise by lifting weights over your head and putting them on shelves and other strength testing. If you have to wait several days for a truck to you continue to get paid at the same training rate as a trainee. Are you still enjoying the trucking gig? Thanks!

 

Actually they do. You have to do one pushup in the morning as you get out of bed.

Karen from training called me, and asked if a would pick a student up in Tennessee, and bring him to the yard, since I am already headed there thursday. Normally I say no to such requests, but I said yes I would help.

the trainer was shut down for 48 hours, violation of stevens policies. This three week student, has talked my ear off, since 4pm yesterday, except for some shut eye last night. Interesting conversations, and some of the things he has said about his trainer, I have told him to advise Karen when we get to the yard.

He has a great attitude about life, and I truly hope he makes it.

 

Thanks for the info. I shouldn't have a problem with the physical. Hopefully there is not a long wait from completion of finish training and getting assigned a truck. I am glad to hear you still enjoy it out there. Encouraging. Thanks again for the information. Be safe!

 

Well I just got my travel info. I jump on a bus at 11:00 am tomorrow and heat to TX for training. I will keep you all updated on my progress. Thanks for all the great advise.
