The first photo is prior to the issue. The others are after having it towed to the mechanic. It’s a 2016 Peterbilt 587.

This looks like one of two things: either your 5th wheel is ahead or drive center line or you are not putting weight on the front drive.
considering you were towed, check that the tow operator did not damage the air ride system or hyper-extend the shocks on the rear drives.Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
5th wheel is all of the way back. It was towed from the front of the truck. It was towed rom the front of the truck.
Rideandrepair and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -
Are all of your airbags aired up?
Rideandrepair and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -
What I was wondering, curious if the front drive air bags are inflated….Rideandrepair and W923 Thank this. -
This was today.
No reason to have that much weight on the steer, unless the front drive is not carrying it’s part of the load.
Check your leveling valve, and air line to the front drive axle, make sure it’s not crimped off somehow.
Did he pull the driveshaft since he towed it from the front….?
cke and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Yes, he pulled the drive shaft. I’ve been wondering if the leveling valve could be the culprit.
OLDSKOOLERnWV and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
When towing from the front you have to chain up the front drive so it doesn’t hang by the air bags.
Check to be sure he didn’t forget to unchain it, likely be only one side chained.OLDSKOOLERnWV and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I’ll swing by the mechanic tomorrow and take a look. I don’t see how I could have missed that on the pre trip inspection.
OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this.
