I like how you can (usually) (just) get a tractor/trailer in and out of a Waffle House parking lot. But the service - fast and always nice, from the greeting as you enter to the time you leave.
Yeah, around Milwaukee, WI, check out George Webb, get anything in 3 minutes, be ready to pay when you are served.

    Baack Thanks this.

George Webb's was a great place to eat cheap and hang out. Do they still serve the soups ?

I like the waffle house but every time I have visited one. The seating was limited.

My first taste of the waffle house was in MO.

They use to be located every where in Milwaukee. Now there is only about 10 of them located around town. If you pull up google maps, type in >> George Webbs Milwaukee WI. It will show you all the locations.

Being a Jersey Girl born and bred I prefer a good diner; but since moving south I have learned to love the Waffle House.

I always get the Cheese 'N Eggs plate with cinnamon raisin toast, apple butter, and hash browns instead of grits. :biggrin_2559: I'll tell you something else too, I will take a cup of Waffle House coffee over the burnt sludge at Starbuck's any day of the week. I have yet to have a bad cup of joe at the WH.
