the ceo of norfolk southern showed up the other day in that town to talk with officials and I’m guessing residents as well..it would very interesting to see how that went off and what was said.

 

Benny Johnson showed up to give residents closest to the derailment scene unexpected gift..

 

The fella in the black hoodie asking if they were from NS or the lawyers. You can tell that guy is pushed right to the edge.

 

Certainly can’t blame him..I’m betting NS and their legal team are harassing them wanting to get them to sign a waiver of liability…NS is in hot water and I don’t think they’re going to like the outcome of this..but serves them tight..seems that several RR companies are negligent on their equipment…here’s the story of that from that engineer with bnsf in portland.

 

You have more faith than I do. The government is in bed with the RR industry so it will get swept under rug and memory holed. They are already telling people "Everything is ok nothing to see here" water is fine to drink.

Have to remember that RR strike that was gonna happen until Brandon stepped in and saved it all.

Happens here too. Short version: train was parked due to some issues, blocking main line. Crew was out of hours so they had to switch out. Train was left with no hand brakes applied, only being held by air. Crew got on board and the train took off. It was revealed there were lots of issues with air leaks in the cold.

 

I just wish folks would get their heads out of the sand see reality…too many folks want to act like nothing is happening…but i don’t have much of any faith in any govt agency…

 

Reports are that employees notified Norfolk Southern prior to departure from madison il that train was too heavy and NS reportedly told employees to roll onto Pennsylvania anyway…
