They are midroof, (the tall condos are gone)but still quite big inside. I think it's the 80 inch sleeper. I am 6'5" and can stand up comfortably and stretch out in the bunk. Mattress is a twin XL.

The view of NYC from the bridge is incredible if a person has never seen it before, but I definitely agree about the road condition once you cross the river. Talk about some narrow travel lanes with no room for error/drifting.

Our company is missing tank number 20329. They sent out a Qualcomm message to the fleet offering a $350 reward if it’s located. It was last seen in Flemington, NJ on 6/8/2022. Obviously, it could be anywhere throughout the country by now. If any drivers on this forum happen to see it, please let Redtwin or myself know. You could also call our Winter Haven, FL office 24/7 and let whoever answers the phone know.

To the moderators on here, I apologize if it was inappropriate to use the forum for this, and you can delete the post if necessary. Being a national/public forum with a lot of eyes throughout the country reading it, I figured it would aid in recovering the tank (possibly stolen). Again, the number is 20329.

    Thanks
    Larry H.

No problem, glad to help. If you'd like to put the same information where it will get more attention you could post it in the Owner/Operator section. That should be enough.
Also, if the tank is recovered please let us know.

I would be surprised if that tank isn't in pieces bound for China. There is a huge scrap metal company right at the port in Newark only 50 miles away from where the tank was last located.

Another possibility is it being on some farm somewhere used to store water. I can't see it ever being used to haul commercially considering the paper trail necessary with regards to prior products and dates etc.

And no, I haven't looked into how much it would cost to get some vinyl made up to slap on another tank to collect the reward.:D

I’m still wondering how it left Johanna (assuming that’s where it was). I don’t recall any other customers in Flemington, and the way that place is off the beaten path, a person would have to intentionally be searching for it. Not to mention, the security guard won’t raise the gate without checking you in.

I agree about the paperwork trail making it impossible to use legitimately on the highway.

    Redtwin Thanks this.

I have bobtailed in there many times and just been waved through once they see the name on the tractor. Anyone who knows the routine, knows which slip of paper to hand over to the guard to get back out.

Do they check to make sure it's an IRT tractor hooked to an IRT trailer?. No clue. Also, OJs in Kearny has an out of the way drop lot. Anyone could go in there and grab a tank and be gone. Maybe it was taken there.

I'm fairly certain it wasn't just misplaced, if the the last known location is correct.

I forgot about OJs in Kearny. I went there to get washed a few times when I first hired on but haven’t been back since we opened the Bensalem terminal.

We still use them if necessary rather than take a dirty tank all the way to Bensalem then back up to Newark. Flemington can't wash whiskey tanks so they sometimes wind up going to OJs
