Well I have found a Company to lease onto, it just taking some time to get all the paper work done. If I am lucky, I'll be hitting the road end of this week. Waiting for an overnight package that I need to sign and send right back, then wait for my start up package from them and go pick up a trailer near the end of the week.
I am also thinking of another deal, which I have a thread posted in another section on here, dealing with Safety.
But for the time being, I am still sitting at home pulling my hair out going crazy with the walls closing in on me. Yikessssssss..

If you have a local workforce center near you they let you fax for free. Good luck

Coastie, You can buy a Fax machine for less than $50, your half way there now.
Good luck on the new job. -
And some folks in this business just won't take an email! It's all about the fax. Coastie - pm me about the fax, and I'll see if I can ship you my old fax machine when I get back to the house in a few days. I bought a new all-in-one a few months ago, so I could take my old printer/scanner on the road with me (best thing since sliced bread out here). Truckers have to help one another when they can!
ps. It needs a new print ribbon - but it faxes out just fine. -
What a guy HPilot!
I've got the all-in-one machine in my truck and it rocks! So far I guess I've been lucky in not running into anyone that insists on a fax. I generate my invoice, scan it along with the Billl of Lading and the load confirmation and attach to an email. That's all done within minutes of leaving the dock after a delivery. I've got all the necessary paperwork on my hard drive, so signing on with a new broker is a breeze too.
Sorry I missed you when you were up to Nebraska. We had some pretty nasty weather come that Sunday and I figured you were itching to get the heck out of there so I didn't bother you. Hope the trailer was in good order and you're doing well!
