55⁰ and sunny here today. Just wanted to make you feel better.

 

I walked out from getting coffee and it was beside me. Both sides buckled and the right rear messed up, couple Bears setting behind it. Towing service was pulling it, down on WV turnpike…..

 

Woke up to this nonsense today. Work called everyone off due to the fact that no one can drive up here. It’s an ice rink at the moment.

 

Stay back. Made double for the lunch pale Friday. Manager requested a ride along. Figured I better have a good meal before I get fired.

 

Guess the 8 to 10 we got yesterday is not so bad.

 

because y'all have this thing about how great the old days were lol.... found these videos on an old hard drive and wanted to put them someplace safe. got them almost 15 years ago from an off-grid group I was part of back when I was off grid.
...so there are about 10 of these silent films from Sweden circa 1925-1933 showing the traditional methods of coopering, farrier and nail making, weaving, rope making, printing wall paper and making stone work, cuff links etc.... wait past the swedish silent film text and watch the craftmanship. amazing!
mad respect to those guys, and seriously grateful for eye glasses, running water, and a heating system with a thermostat!! LOL
