I'll pay $4000 cash for the van as long as it DOT's and checks out.

Soooo.... No operating capital available due to running for cash flow.... No credit available.... No savings... Familly and friends are broke... OP states he has been in biz since 2019 and has neither... But you say "never quit".... How about you loan him the money?

Short Fuse EOD and Ruthless Thank this.

Imo looks like he read what was written?

3+ years of ones own authority, owes on equipment and doesn’t have $20k to throw at a truck problem.
You can throw good money after bad, won’t change the outcome if it even prolongs it.

Beg borrow and steal, what do you do a week (or at any point going forward, if no money stacked in 3 years with what has been acknowledged as the best rates in history) later when something else happens?

Imo it’s likely to get worse before it gets better.
I think it would be pretty heartless to tell someone drowning to take a deep breath and dive for success.

Guessing what he said is just an opinion and not based on any facts.

“3+ years of ones own authority” Unless I missed something he only stated that he bought his tractor in 2019.

Stating the OP doesn’t have any credit when he obviously does is a low blow. He has a loan on his tractor and a paid off trailer..

My take on the OP is that he’s under a bit of stress..on a load and dealing with a costly repair.
Under stress it’s hard to make sound decisions and he came here for advice.

One bump in the road and Bankruptcy is the best answer? Ruin your credit for many years?
Adding $13k to his truck note is the end of business, close the door!

Fact is he came here asking if anyone knew of a lender that could give him a loan. Imo he’s still got credit.

He’s also been a TTR member since 2012 which in my world means something..
