Claims

What a joke. To fill everyone in, they wanted to pay $1000 to put a bandaid on it.

I opened a claim with Great West. My mistake I didn't do it right away.

 

Yep. I was naive. With any type of insurance or even places you deliver often, you can't trust nobody. I admit being naive here. My mistake. Live and learn. A lesson for me since I never had to do it being an owner operator.
I love to have a clean record. But I can't continue to pay out of pocket each time. I did that last year. And some of the other damage nobody admitted fault to I have to cover myself. I'm not letting this one get away though. They got on my nerves how they played with me.

 

There are no winners here. I might be a fool by opening a claim with my own insurance.
People might retaliate against me. And they might be doing it already. The broker who worked with me dropped me. She became silent. They might even write a false review.
The thing is we have no way to know and check for facts. And nobody likes to see an O/O standing up for himself. They might say you're difficult, etc.

The point is there are no winners.

 

It would be easy to do during good times. Harder now...
