    yep, ok...........i knew that i had seen something on TV, maybe that "Cops" show, as they from time to time do segments on police from around the world.

    It was a strategy test, in order to discover what parts of the vehicles need re-inforcements.
    Of course the rain slicked road helped with momentum, as it does.
    The driver may very well not have been an Officer, which wouldn't explain anything, because not everyone can safely operate a vehicle on slick roads, including Cops.
    Is that a Yugo in the top picture?
    If it is then it IS a rain safe vehicle because of its inability to successfully attain a reasonable speed, maybe the cops outta start or resume using them.:smt082 :hello1: :blah5:

    Is that a Yugo in the top picture?

    Its a Russian car(Lada 2107,2000-2006 year).Fiat(France) sold that line of cars to Russia in 1970.

    i was going to say NO, its not a yugo. a friend of mine had one, and frankly, it ran great...........he had it for several years before it got creamed in an accident.
