    The built-in fridge's for trucks are about $700. Alpicool and the various Dometic knock-offs are about $300 or less. Dometic is very good quality, expensive, and take up floor space in the truck.

    Being the cheep a-- I am I like the looks of the Alpicool.
    Do the small dorm style work in a truck? I thought I heard they can not handle the bouncing & vibration.

    I’ve been using the Coleman 40 quart 12 V cooler for years, there are about 120 bucks on Amazon and they last anywhere from eight months to 12 months, then I just throw it away when it craps out and buy a new one.
