They used to send fuel stops with the load info, but haven't in a while. I guess they realized it was a waste of time as noone paid any attention to it.
They want us to fuel at Loves, but the fuel card works at the other big chains and even the few mom and pops I have tried it.

No. They prefer we use Loves. We can use the other major truck stops if we need to, though.Redtwin, insipidtoast and lual Thank this.

I didn’t realize Redtwin had already replied when I answered that.

I use Loves it’s what they prefer I believe you can use TA also
Tanker_82 Thanks this. -
There’s a bakery I delivered yeast too down I wanna say Long Beach or around there that was pretty fun to back into. Had to park on the street and blindside in from the street, but someone will come out and guide you and hold up traffic. Then you had to kind of weave around the bread trucks to the back corner of the bakery

I used to fill up TA or Petro all the time, because I hate Loves. They said something to me once about it but didn’t seem to care too much.

It will work at Petro/TA and Pilot/FJ, but be aware that some PFJs will only let you get 50 gallons.Tanker_82 Thanks this.

I’ve been there. The name of that LA suburb city is Carson, CA. I can’t remember the name of the plant, though. They have a handheld stop sign they use now when they block traffic.Bobblehead Thanks this.

While we’re on the fuel topic, beware of the 49 gallon limit if anyone tries to fuel in Oregon. We can only get 49 gallons there, even at Loves. I think it’s something to do with the state tax. I always top off in California on my way to Washington and then top off in Washington before heading out. Being a fairly large state to get across, I figured I’d mention it.
Nashville, RussianBearTruckeR, wulfman75 and 3 others Thank this. -
I like the rewards program better at Loves, but I almost wish the TA/Petro was IRT’s preferred fuel stop. Their showers are nicer with rarely a long wait, fuel islands seem to have more pumps, and the food options are better in my opinion.
