New Driver Benefits

Everything ive had was with nationwide network. Except some were big city hours drive away. $60 a week is what ive been paying since obamacare ruined health insurance. And deductables that i never meet.
Meds can be done a big chains that are everywhere or there is online

 

Have you done any basic searches at all? I mean, there are countless threads addressing new hire options. Write down those companies and start researching what looks like a decent fit for what you want. Then, call the recruiters for accurate answers to your questions.

 

Where is your location; state and nearest town?
Union outfits have free health insurance for the driver and family.
It's high quality insurance. I had it with YRC and it was BCBS and covered pre-existing conditions.

 

Are you a military veteran? If so, the VA will cover your medications. Illness doesn't have to be service connected.

 

What's wrong with the OP asking a question? Everyone starts somewhere.

If all the answers have already been given, this forum should just be archived for future reference. Something similar to the card catalogs and microfilm of my youth.

I don't have an answer for this particular post, but apparently you don't either. So what exactly is your reason for responding? Recruiters inherently lie.

 

Pretty much all the larger companies hiring new drivers are going to offer medical benefits. The quality and cost of the coverage may vary a lot. You'll have to find out specifics from each company you're interested in. They will typically start within 1-3 months. I think 60 days is what I've seen most often.

Don't know if still training for CDL or not. You can ask about that. If so, you would be on the payroll while training for your CDL. I think they were paying students $18.50 an hour , then regular driver pay after acquiring the CDL.
